In May of 2013 I had the honor of shooting Brooke & Brad’s Wedding. Shortly before the wedding I learned Brad had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor but fought his way to a good place.  I fell in love with Brooke & Brad immediately. From their beautiful beach wedding and their first dance song that my then fiance and I had just chosen to be our first dance song, to their amazing story of courage and bravery….those love birds stole my heart!  I was more than delighted to hear from them when Brooke became pregnant with Elloise, their first daughter.  I went on to shoot Elloise’s newborn pictures, her 1st Birthday, the second maternity session and first Birthday of sister Sloan!  This family is beautiful inside and out, to say the least.  A couple of months ago Brad’s doctor found a new brain tumor and sadly he passed away on September 25th, the day after Sloane’s first birthday.

Tomorrow night a benefit is being held in memory of Brad and in honor of his family.  I am donating a complimentary wedding photography package (or 3 portrait sessions) to be raffled off as one of the baskets.  The event will be held at Casey’s in Drexel Hill.
